Isang mainit na pagbati sa ating lahat!

Tayo ay naririto sa dalawang mahalagang dahilan, una, upang ipagbunyi ang ika-149 na kaarawan ni Gat Andres Bonifacio, ang ama ng himagsikang Pilipino at pangalawa, upang ipagdiwang ang ika-23 na anibersaryo ng Rebolusyonaryong Alyansang Makabansa (RAM). Hindi bunga ng pagkakataon o aksidente kung bakit magkasabay natin na ipinagdidiwang ang dalawang mahahalagang sipi na ito sa kasaysayan ng lipunang Pilipino. Sa katotohanan, ang dalawang okasyon na ito ay lubhang magkaugnay. Ang una ay inspirasyon at gabay sa mapanghimagsik na aspirasyon ng mamamayang Pilipino para sa magandang pagbabago, at ang huli, ay pag-aambag sa pagpapatuloy ng hindi nalubos na himagsikan ng mga tunay na anak ng bayan.

PHP60 M Goods Seized by Customs

Even as Customs officials are set to file smuggling charges against the officials of Telsphere International Trading Corp. (TELSPHERE) later today for an earlier attempt to smuggle Sixty Million Pesos worth of illegally imported counterfeit goods into the country, TELSPHERE is once again embroiled in another smuggling try when two (2) more forty-footer container vans also consigned to said company were seized recently by Bureau of Customs (BOC) Intelligence Group (IG) Intellectual Property Rights Division (IG-IPRD) operatives under IG Deputy Commissioner Danilo Lim.

Php 47 Million Rhino Horns Shipment Seized

Nothing illegal gets through the enhanced intelligence network of the Bureau of Customs Intelligence Group under Deputy Commissioner Danilo Lim, when Lim’s Manila International Container Port (MICP) operatives headed by MICP-Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service (CIIS) Officer-in-Charge Bienvenido Rubio, seized six (6) pieces of rhinoceros horns worth Php 47 million recently.

Concealed in a container van loaded with 300 sacks of cashew nuts, the rhinoceros horns shipment was seized by the MICP-CIIS operatives for violation of Section 101 par.K 2503 of the Tariff and Customs Code of the Philippines and the  Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Faura and Flora, (CITES).
